Long live rock, I need it every night

I am the Steven Spielberg of Rock Club

Or perhaps his closest non-union equivalent, Esteban Spielbergo.

This is my entry into the DC Rock Club Film Festival, in the category of Best Documentary About Rock Club's Trip to the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago.

I was handicapped as Potsy and I were the only members to share our Chicago pix and video. Ah well. Let me know what you think:

Fucking brillant. My favorite part is Jumboslice waiting for his omelette. Well done, Jimbromski.

That's fucking fantastic. I smell a Thorkelson award in your future. Kudos also to Potsy for providing so much video.

I'll try to cobble together something from my pics and video. I think the insanity of Dan Deacon's set is worth posting.

Very nice. I'm glad to see the video used to its fullest. You get the benefit of having gone first, so the rest of us will look rather derivative.

Sacklunch: Did you burn those videos I left on your laptop to a CD yet? I don't want to miss the entry deadline for the film festival. I guess Jumbo Slice is too busy replying to all the posts from the past two weeks to get us copies of his videos. The Academy looks down on those who withhold source material.

I sound like I have a bad attitude, don't I?
