T. Rextasy

I found two awesome T. Rex video clips--God bless YouTube. The first is "Children of the Revolution" featuring Elton John on piano and Ringo Starr on the drums. It's a great jam. I wish I had a time machine so I could go back to 1974 and see this band live. Marc Bolan reminds me of Johnny Depp, they should make a biopic.



The second is "Ride A White Swan". Marc Bolan came from a folk background before he started T. Rex and you can hear some of that folk influence here (wear a tall hat like a Druid in the old days, wear a tall hat and a tattooed gown...). Here they're playing some basement club in France in 1971. Again, I need a time machine. Il y a beaucoup de hot French hippie chicks in the audience and last time I checked I'm not married in 1971:
