Scotch Mist

This is for those who enjoy In Rainbows by Radiohead (meaning most people except Jimbromski). I have to admit, I wasn't big fan at first but the more I listen the more I really, really like it.

UPDATE: It was just announced that Radiohead is playing DC on it's upcoming tour. When? Where? Who knows. They haven't played here since 2003 at Merriweather Post. I was there and frankly it was disappointing. I couldn't even seen the stage. If they play there again I'm not sure I'll go unless I can get good seats. Hmmm, who do we know with such connections...Sacklunch?

Jimbromski - did I get that wrong? I thought you said you weren't too high on the new Radiohead but now I'm wondering if I got that wrong. Please clarify.

Nope, you got it. Thought it was above avg, I guess, but nothing special.

Thom Yorke looks like Bobby Convey.

I thought their MPP show was fantastic. We were sitting in the pavilion, though and didn't have problems with traffic that day. The sound and visuals were beautiful. It was MUCH better than their Bull Run shows.

Michael Jackson kind of looks like Martha Stewart on the new TV Guide.

I need a link to analyze the Jacko/Stewart comparison.

Also, "Scotch Mist" makes me think "Chocolate Rain".

I was reading a thread on the 930 Club forum and it appears that Thom Yorke will only play at venues accessible by mass transportation. Something about CO2 emmisions, yadda, yadda... Therefore, they will most likely be playing at Verizon Center (or perhaps RFK??) I doubt they will play at Merriweather or Nissan. How much would you pay to see them at the Black Cat?

$80

cheap skate. I'd pay $180 to see them at the RnRH.

I was blessed by good fortune and saw them in row 3 at Merriweather, though was late due to traffic. They were unbeatable. I took Stuttson as a birthday present for him. Now that I think of it, that was a pretty great present. I should have gotten some ass for such a good gift.
